Background Story
As Generative AIs like ChatGPT and Claude rapidly spread, many people hit a wall, feeling "I don't know what or how to instruct the AI" or "I'm not getting the answers I expected." While utilizing AI daily as a Web Director myself, I acutely felt the difficulty of "Prompt Engineering" required to draw out high-quality outputs. AIs prefer logical and structured instructions, but our human thoughts are inherently unstructured, naturally mixing emotions and fragmented ideas. When faced with a blank input box, trying to write sentences with perfect structure from the start causes our thinking to freeze. The starting point for developing Chat2Prompt was the strong feeling that a tool was needed to bridge this gap between the "fluctuations of human thought" and the "structured language demanded by AI".
The solution I focused on was the "chat" format of communication that we use every day. Humans are creatures who organize their ambiguous thoughts through the process of having someone listen to them or by talking to themselves. Therefore, I built a system where simply typing keywords and conditions into a chat field one after another, like on Slack or WhatsApp, allows the system to analyze them in real-time and automatically rearrange them into logical prompt blocks (premises, instructions, constraints, etc.). It is designed to tolerate thought fluctuations like "Actually, cancel that last condition" and reflect your final, latest intentions. Even non-engineers can obtain professional-level prompts just by bouncing ideas off the chat. I hope that Chat2Prompt becomes your "Ultimate Thought Translator," accelerating your creative activities.
